About

Wintergreen Counseling was created in 1991 to meet the increasing mental health demands in the community. Since then it has touched lives and improved daily engagement for hundreds of individuals, couples, and families. This is accomplished through counseling, assignments, reading, art, and a variety of other modalities.

Wintergreen Counseling is owned and operated by Glinda G. Johnson-Medland, LCSW. Glinda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Glinda holds a Bachelor of Science from Cairn University; and, a Master’s in Social Work from Temple University.

Glinda is a married mother of two adult boys – one “a-doctored” and one “adopted”. She also supports her sisters in caring for her 92 year old mother.

Glinda has had experience in residential treatment, school social work, adoption, and private practice. She believes faith is an integral part of healing. Glinda has been described as practical, funny, down to earth, compassionate and enjoys thinking outside of the box.
